Modern Vespa

What gets me about craigslist are all these idiots who, when they place their ads, include in the description every wheeled vehicle under the sun that they can think of. Just to make sure that any search will bring up their ad.

I just did a search for Vespas. And one of the results is for a Suzuki M109R. This is an 1800cc v twin motorcycle with a 240mm rear tyre. Yeah, anyone looking for a Vespa is gonna think that's close enough!

If one person on every Suzuki, Kawasaki, Vino and Fireblade forum did this........

Flag it prohibited or miscategorized and it will disappear promptly!
When searching for used GTS250s earlier this year, ran into the same thing - but it was usually less annoying because the ads were at least for other scooters!

I think everyone here should send him an email asking about the Vespa for sale. His inbox will be flooded and he may remove the stupid keywords. I already sent him mine!

Funny how vespa does get put into the mix whenever somebody is selling a scooter It's annoying when your trying to actually find a vespa and when you search you get all chinese scooters I've also noticed a lot more scammers on there lately and they are getting harder to spot

Once, I replied to such an ad saying:

Aw, man- I had one of those when I was a kid.

How about the craigslist folks that flag your scooter for sale post off because it's "not a motorcycle..." wtf...
