Hello

We joined this site last week and really like it. The information we are getting from other users is great.

We drive a 2005 ET4 and a 2008 LX150.


I tried the search feature but could not find what MSF , NSR and other abbreviations meant.

NSR: not scooter related
SSR: somwhat scooter related
MSF: motorcycle safety foundation (riding classes)

Hi and welcome!


Here are some common acronyms:

MSF = Motorcycle Safety Foundation - a great class to take
NSR = Not scooter related / NVR= Non-Vespa Related
Toreador Pants = all the gear, all the time
YMMV = Your mileage may vary

Welcome to MV, yeah there are alot of abriviations... go to the link provided by Danny*h. There are alot of good folks here as well as the few cranky ones... but then who doesn't get a little cranky now and then.
Sounds like you have two great scoots, and that you have had them for a while. When you figure out how, please post a picture of them, we all like to see the pictures of the scoots others ride... dings, scratches or pure un-marred beauty. Doesn't matter if we have seen 100 of the same scoot, these are your scoots.
Wow you live in the whole United States.. I have trouble just managing to live in the N-California area.... Razz emoticon When you feel more comfortable please let us know the general area you live in. Some here have no other scooters in their area and would love to know there is someone else near by. Others like myself just like to know someone else who rides in the area so you can be invited to some group rides.

Hope to see some pictures of the scoots soon, enjoy the ride every chance you get, and if you do not get many invent them...
