Modern Vespa

I'm not sure if I should buy a used 2007 GTS 250 with 2300 miles in silver(could be a better color) or 2009 shiny new blue (blue rocks) LX150.

the 07 gts is $4700 and the LX is around $4700-ish, i cant remember.

I want the extra power the GTS has for the interstate. I'm just not sure if being a scooter newbie, I should trust a USED scooter or stick with NEW.

any advice would be great.

If you're already questioning the extra power, I'd really consider the GTS. A 2007 GTS with 2300 miles on it is not really that high milage for a used scooter. My 2009 already has 2500 miles and operates beautifully. Ask to see the service records. Also, the $ 4,700 price does seems a bit high. I've seen similar used GTS for sale for around 4K. At this time of year, you might be able to get a better deal.

If you are going to ride the interstate the bigger the better.

I've got a GTV 250 and an LX 150. I'd never take the 150 on the interstate.
