Yup, definitely no braking.
I just extended my turning radius a little because the lane was large enough, and just throttled through the turn. No biggie.
I just remember when I first started riding how unsure I was of those tiny tires. I would slow waaay down and be almost completely upright through turns. I just didn't realize how confident/aggressive I had gotten. Kinda neat to think about, ya know?
Yep. When I switched from Motocross to street bikes it was a huge learning curve - not sticking my leg out past the front fork, not letting off the gas and usingmy foot to push the bike up in a turn, etc etc
Now the sides of my boots are worn out, the exhaust is scraped and I've ripped the shift box off a couple scoots.
The "throttle through a turn, not brake" is one of the biggest things to learn and I sincerely wish no one could leave an Moto safety course without scraping a foot peg, floorboard, or dragging a knee. I think there'd be a lot fewer wrecks if that were the case because to hit the throttle when you think you are too far is against what our bodies want us to do which is to STOP whatever it thinks we are doing wrong and we do that by slowing down and braking - which, as you know, in a turn results in crash.
I had to remove the centerstand from the Ducati because it scraped in left hand turns and would always give me a bit of a jolt when it happened.
