I have a 2006 150 lx that rattles when I hit 45 to 50 mi/hr. It has 5700 miles on it. The shop told me the part that needed to be replaced and it would cost about $500. Does anyone know the name of this part? It seems like it was a chain of some sort?

It would help if you knew the name of the part and we could work you through replacement options.

We might even be able to call BULLSHIT on a shop who takes advantage of some people.

I agree with Jimc. I would begin to worry if it stopped rattling.
