I like the way they put the pin stripe on breaking at the light. I'm going to put stripes on my LX this weekend. Gave me something to think about.

I bet it wouldn't be too hard to duplicate that exactly, the toughest would be painting the black inner legshield bit (tough because you'd have to take it apart to do it right). Just get some decent custom cut vinyl and you're all set. Provided you start with a Sienna Ivory LXV.

Like 1969lambretta said.. it is just enough of an eye catcher without going over the top with it.. The green on ivory looks very nice. 1drunkparrot... They just removed the light housing, ran the stripe, then cut away the extra inside, and replace the light. No reason you can't do the same to get that broken stripe look. It is a nice look, I say go for it.. Besides who is to say you can't put 3 stipes on there... Different widths would really pop out.. Post pictures so we can see how it came out... |

And you mean one is expected to pay EXTRA for a scoot that advertises this crap?
I would expect to get some renumeration myself for riding around on what is essentially a display ad-horse! And that windshield(?) is basicially useless! (As I find most so-called cool 'designer' clothes and things to be, but then I guess I just ain't with this 'mod' society of ours?) -Ah well, I've now becomie just another old and in the way curmudgeon, I guess...... |

Curmudgeon back at you. Bugger the clothing company, remember the man who helped get rid of the 'gentleman' vs 'player' concept in both tennis and cricket, though not during his own career.
