Yesterday one of Zee's friends came over, so she had to show off the GTS250ie to her...
Apparently all she did was start the bike, then turn it off (unbeknownst to me). Did not ride it, did not let it warm up.
So this morning, I try to start 'er up to ride to work. Takes forever. Engine spins, nothing catches. I push the starter button for maybe 5 seconds at a time, give it a little break, try again. Checked to make sure the plug was attached. No difference. Give it a little throttle and try again. It kinda catches then dies.
Eventually it starts, and then runs fine, no issues.
My feeling, naturally, is that this has something to do with Zee starting it yesterday, and immediately turning it off w/o going for a ride. Maybe she primed the FI a few times after that for all I know... So I think she may have flooded the bike.
What say the wise ones?

Probably not a big deal...
Some fuel injection systems do that. I had a car that you couldn't start and move 30 feet to let another car out of the drive without subsequent hard starting. I think it over-gases the system, even with fuel injection!

I get this occasionally on my Fuoco, if I release the starter button before the engine has properly caught. The next start attempt can take many seconds. Don't twist the throttle while you're doing it, just keep the starter going until the engine catches *and* it is running smoothly again.
