Modern Vespa

Anyone use a Nexx 3/4 helmet in hot weather? I'm looking at the black and orange Vintage to go with orange S 150 but I'm concerned about the heat. Any info you can give will help. Thanks.

I recently bought a Nexx X60 and found it fitted better than 2 other makes of the same size ( including vespa ) and was quiet and cool ( for England )!

I have the ICE and love it, I also went with black an orange to match my scooter But to answer your question, I rode with it when it hit 103 this summer (hottest day ever recorded in Seattle) and was plenty comfortable, and it is very quiet for a 3/4.

I have a special order X60 Queen in Pink and have ridden with it in Wine Country heat without issues. You will love the Nexx helmet, if you decide to get it! Very well made, super stylin' and no wind noise with the visor up or down.

If you are more sensitive to the heat, check out Nolan helmets. Their scooter helmets have a zip off lower section that allows for more air flow. They are noisier this way but you will be cooler and they are also so stylish!

I just bought my "nexx" 3/4 helmet, and it was an Arai in white--because it fit me best and its color makes it safe and cool.
