Just happened today. Why all of a sudden the seat button on my GTS is not working. Your help is appreciated.

There's a mechanical release in your glove box- it's on the upper part, a bit left of center. Hook a finger around it and pull outwards.

Here are a couple of threads I found by searching "GTS seat release". Click on any or all of them. You might also want to try "GTS seat latch". Hope you find something that works for you. Good luck!

Thanks Everyone...
Thanks everyone for manual seat latch and the links. I will work on cleaning up the contacts and/or ordering a new switch. I did wash my scoot just the other day. Thanks everyone, especially those who responded.

If you overstuff your seat, it can prevent the lock from opening. When this has happened to me, I push down where the latch is while pushing the button. Works evertime.
