Modern Vespa

Anyone have any fun Labor Day rides planned? I'd love to hear about them.

Not unless our crappy weather clears up.

We're still dealing with thunder, lightning, pouring rain and a few flash floods here and there from the remnants of tropical storm Erica. I should be able to shovel the mud out of my driveway by Monday and get back on the road ... I hope!

went for coffee w/the boys this morning then went on ride to canyon lakes a series of 5 city parks in my town that are connected by 4 small lakes & a 2 lane road that runs through it. It's about a 12 mile ride but only 3 stop signs lots of hills & curves and almost no traffic. perfect for scootering. 20 mile speed limit keeps the big bikes away except for sunday couple riders. you can open it up to 35 & no one will pitch a fuss. I'll probably take the wife on monday for picnic & hiking and of course scooting.

I went for a short ride this morning over to Lido island but first
I dropped off the Scooter Zombies t-shirts to Massimo's Vespa Shop.
I took photos of the boats passing by & sipped coffee and had a cigar.

I like the frozen Banana shop on Lido, I even take the farry across the bay just for fun.
