I DON'T BUY OFF EBAY IT'S FULL OF CRAP! I'VE ORDERED A HEADLIGHT VISOR OFF JETTIN IT WILL TAKE 7 TO 14 DAYS TO ARRIVE BUT AT LEAST I KNOW IT WILL BE A QUALITY PRODUCT AND FIT MY SCOOTER! I JUST WISH THERE WERE MORE COMPANIES LIKE JETTIN OVER HERE IN ENGLAND. I HAVE JUST GOT BACK FROM ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCOOTER RALLIES IN THE WORLD ( THE ISLE OF WIGHT )AND THERE WAS NOT ONE SINGLE ITEM TO BUY FOR THE MODERN VESPA IT'S MAD WE BUY LOADS OF NEW VESPAS IN ENGLAND SO WHY NO AFTER MARKET STUFF FOR THEM, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!

Perhaps you have identified a market niche that you can fill? If there are so many people in the same position as you, one might consider that a good opportunity to develop a much needed business.

Oh and the caps lock thing is considered to be very rude as you are for all intents and purposes screaming at all of us ... and nobody likes to be screamed at. OK?

If you ride a Modern Vespa chances are that nothing significant has fallen off or broken, the aftermarket suppliers target their products to who needs them.

That is really odd since yyou would think at a big rally there would be some. Next year se if nyle (jettin) will come over with some stuff. He will custom make stuff ya know.

I wish he would as i think it would show other dealers in this country how its done and done right, all people seem to think about is buying crap from the far east, doubling the price then trying to sell the rubbish to us....we need more people who think about scooterists and not money, if they do it right they could do both!!!!

i agree that there is a lot of rubbish on ebay (i've bought my share of it ), but there's also some very nice stuff available in the UK if you order from the right place. you've had some good suggestions in this thread.

As an ex-eBay occasional seller, I completely understand the lack of Vespa accessories/parts selling that doesn't happen now. Two years ago, eBay was small seller friendly, so you could sell a few parts and do OK. Now, with the new PayPal only policies, it is very risk to try to sell your extra stuff this way as you will invariably be ripped off by shady buyers. Only bigger businesses can sell enough to cover the losses. That said, if you see anything on eBay as a buyer, feel no fear as you can pay to have it shipped back on the slightest whim and get your money back.

e-bay means "buyer beware" as far as I'm concerned, and that goes for just about any kind of merchandise. I'll pay more and know where I'm getting something from.

Sucks for the waiting time, but it'll be well worth it. I've got the chrome short one on.
