I think you would be wise to have a trained eye along with you. Make sure you hear it start up cold. And if possible take it for a ride . If it doesn't feel like poetry in motion , stay away. I've had many other bikes and they don't even come close to the 250 Mp3 . Smooth operator.
Thanks for the advice, I will make sure to have my uncle with me (he´s an old "road rat"). Althougt, I belive that the technology has changed a bit since "back in he´s days".
I was really aming for the Vespa GT250 but because of some "mock ups" with the traffic school i won´t be able to finnish my mc-license this year.
Im so glad that your happy with your MP3, everywere I look the MP3 has got nice rewievs. The only thing "bad" I read about it is that it´s expencive, a bit heavy and not very fast.
Well, the price is a bit high, but I can ride it on a drivers license for cars, so I won´t have to spend a lot of money on a MC-licence. I really can´t say if I think its heavy or not since I havent had the opportunety to ride one yet. The speed isn´t a issue (yet
), since Im a beginner i´ll take it nice & easy. The autumn is coming, so with a litle luck I have 6-8 weeks of riding before the weather stops me.
I got some nice advise from
Tucsonrider on how to tune it up with the malossi variator and the larger windshield, I think that I´ll do that, but first I´ll learn how to ride it as it is.
So on sunday i´ll go and have a look, and if it´s "poetry in motion" me and the girlfriend will have approx a 4 hour drive back on it.
Thanks a lot for some good advice.
