I've had a couple of Typhoons - both 125cc, one of which ended up with a 172 bore kit, Malossi clutch, heavier rollers, 25mm carb etc.

A 50 would need a 70 bore kit, pipe, carb etc and you'll maybe see a real 55mph, my old 172 only got around to a real 70 but it got thererather quickly.

Personally I'd look around for a broken 125 and use that engine instead, as you'll get more bang for your buck.
