The rubber on the inside of the glovebox door of my ss180 is completely rotted and disintegrated. I removed all of it and put some cheap weatherstripping in its place. This is temporary. Does anyone know if there is replacement rubber for the glovebox door? I can find the rubber that goes between the glovebox and the legshield, no problem but I can't find it for just the glovebox door. It seems like a decent weatherstripping would do the job but it's not in keeping with the original vibe of the bike. Thanks for any help!
I ordered "rally glovebox rubber" from Motorsport the other day ...and it's good ..but it's THICK ..and it's making it so i can't shut the glovebox right now.
I also ordered the original stuff and found that my door did not close after I installed it, in addition, I had to glue it on. Home Depot sells different thickness self stick weather stripping and it is in the same grey as the cowls. It is also much more pilable so the door will close. This is the only stuff I use now.
