Does anybody really know if the 2010 LX 150 to be sold in these United States next spring will be fuel-injected?

This is important to my marriage.

Yes......
The Special Edition Pink will be the only 2010 Non fuel injected bike at this time.
The F.I 2010 LX 150 won't be here until late Spring.

From reading your other posts, it seems like you sell bikes....but please elaborate. Are you saying all 2010 scooters (so not just Vespa) will be fuel-injected, or -only- the 2010 scooters in the Vespa and/or Piaggio line will be fuel injected?

Sorry... from what I have been told, the LX 150 will go to F.I for the 2010 MY (except the Special Edition Pink which is already out and limited production).
No word on the Piaggio line, although the BV will not come as a 300 because the cost of certifying that bike for the U.S market is not worth it for the little sales.

Wow, you must buy lots of gifts for your rep or something. That's more than we have heard. Hoping to get a good idea at the dealer meeting next month.

Alex (and others):

Any other 2010 LX1560 changes? 12-inch wheels? Liquid cooled?

The Europeans have a 125cc GTS with all that good stuff, but it's not imported into North America. Downside it's the size and weight of a GTS or Super rather than a LX150.

Not sure, but if it is like the Special edition pink, the wheels stay the same.
There is a crest on the fender, new grips, chrome horn cover and a chrome piece above the license plate.

The Pink one has the Touring seat available on the S, which is lower than the current seat.
I am not sure if that same seat will be available for all 2010 LX models, but I have been told that for 2010, the seat will be slightly lower than before.

Still air cooled.

Thanks for the input. The f.i. is the main thing, but I sure would like to see a 150 with 12-inch wheels. A Vespa, I mean.

The new MP3 250 with a 14-inch rear wheel is sweet.

The desirability of 12" wheels on a 150 depends on your priorities, as it would definitely cut into the space available for the gas tank and pet carrier unless the chassis is redesigned (unlikely). My helmet just fits in the pet carrier of my LX and I'd hate to lose that convenience or any range just for the sake of 12" wheels. Personally I'd prefer to keep the Vespa 150s as ideal urban assault vehicles, even if it makes them less ideal as highway cruisers.
