Yeah, I appreciate the fact that my MP3's not fugly and can turn without scraping fiberglass.

Well I like em , japanese , they got a cool style, different and not following the norm , to each there own, I'm sure people say alot behind our backs because we ride mp3's too , so to say somethings fugly , is being just like them!!

I think you'll find that they have raising and lowering suspension, which gets around that problem.

There are, for the most part, Show Ho's. Nice looking in an odd sort of way but, how long would they last on the streets?

People DO ride them. You see them on the streets in Japanese towns with reasonable frequency (i.e. about as often as I see heavily body-kitted hot hatchbacks in the UK).

Sure, most of the scoots over there are not so heavily modded as those in the pics, but you do see ones like in the pics, more or less, depending on what parts of town you're in (you don't see many in the CBD, for instance , whereas it's by no means odd to see one in a trendy location like Shibuya).
