I promptly paid with paypal....waited 7-8 days...e-mailed seller, he stated that "it was returned to him because he used the wrong tape"....never heard of that before, but OK...Said he would "express" it the next day...still nothing, stopped replying to e-mails. It never showed up, never got a refund, just ignored me...

Just wanted everyone to be aware not to buy anything from "scoot'n'shoot"

Why in the world would you purchase a scoot on line. You've got to look em in the eye when you make a deal.

He wasn't trying to buy a scooter, he was trying to buy an unused, discounted Prima rollbag.

That's a bummer, man. I would hope for your sake that something seriously important came up, and he just hasn't gotten back to you. Who knows.

Those bags do show up fairly often on the For Sale section, for decent prices.

It hasn't actually been that long, has it? You sent the message on the 'for sale' board on the 24/8 it is only the 9/9, maybe he was telling the truth and the parcel got sent back to him and sinced then he has had personal issues?? These things happen when you buy from from a person rather than a business. You are protected with PayPal and will get your money back even upto 180 days later. So try being patient and understanding.

Have you PM'd him via this forum?

As already stated....not a scooter....thanks for reading... It was clearly stated to him that the condition of my purchase was to have it here in 4 days from payment... Personal issues, he has posted on here recently as the 6th...so what personal issues would prevent him from shipping, but not posting. Yes, PM's were sent, some were ignored. E-mails to his paypal verified e-mail were also sent, again first one answered, then the rest ignored.

contact him via PM, this is the first week back to school and he may have just been busy. don't for get it was just a 3 day weekend and depending on where he lives shipping may not be easy.

He is a student, so may be otherwise preoccupied right now - but he was posting here just 3 days ago - not since.

I think you are being a bit dramatic. You willl get your money back. As I am sure you are aware these are the risks we all take for a bargain, sometimes when we buy something privately things can go wrong. The seller has no professional obligation towards customer service and therefore does not deserve a rather aggressive post (well not yet).

If you paid on the 24th and specified a 4 day delivery, that is a 29th delivery. If a problem occured with the delivery and the parcel was sent back, the seller may not have received it back until the 31st. Which is only nine days previous. So maybe it is on its way.

For all I know you are 100% correct.

Also, if its "on its way", why is the selling not responding to my request for the tracking information that he "left at work".....

Yes , It says on the title of this post (in capital letters) that you were 'Screwed' by this person. As yet you have not been screwed, just delayed. If your money was stolen and you had no way of having it returned I would agree with you.

Given all the facts,you have clearly been screwed over.Hopefully it wont remain in " screwed over status" and the other party takes care of this. The one clear fact you mentioned about scoot n shoot still posting and answering some emails says he is around but ignoring you.Hey good luck!

I hate ebay and pay pal . I have been ripped off the both times I used it. I bought the items from different sellers at about the same time. Both times the sellers kept stalling with exuses involving "packing" "shipping", "changing freight carriers" , "moving warehouse"and what not.

guess what? the time to get a refund expired while I gave these fools the benifit of the doubt and kept listening to their excuses. don't let that happen. Just b/c he is a student does mean he should be an ass hat. He is a grown man I assume.

at the very least lousy business practce, did you get a super good deal to make this BS worth the while. No reason he couldn't contact you. I sold an item last year and it wasnt quite as I advertized it and the buyer and I were in constant contact till we got things sorted out

Oh for goodness sake - in this case the seller is (apparently) a student, give him some slack. Not too much mind.

You guys seem to think this was a commercial enterprise. It wasn't - it was a one-off for an MV member to get hold of - again I say *apparently*.

Personally, I wouldn't trade with someone who had only registered a short time ago.
But I do think its a little soon to be dissing him.

Locking this until resolution either way is found.

OK... Here is what happened.

I contacted paypal and asked them to contact the seller for verification of shippment as the seller was no longer responding to me. Palpal contacted the seller, gave him 10 days to reply and he never did. In that time he did make posts on here so I know he wasn't just busy or out of town. After 10 days they got nothing and went ahead and removed the money from his account and refunded it back to me.



So, i did get my money back, but I had to get 3rd party involved and the seller has still yet to explain why he attempted to take my money and never ship my item.

If scoot is reading this or wants to attempt to defend himself, he is your chance.

In my opinion he should be banned for attempting to steal from a member.

It's a shame that you had to go through this ordeal. I have bought and sold many, many items from private parties via the internet (four or five items on this site). I have never had a problem. I'm happy to hear that you got your money refunded. Thanks for letting us know the outcome.
