The MP3 "ghost", try flipping the emergency switch on and off a few times. Mine did it twice, pull over and restarted fast. Then two weeks later died 8x riding 60 miles. Read the post of possible switch, flipped mine, so far so good. Plan on getting extra switch. At idle just gently wiggle the switch, mine killed the engine. Think road bumps made switch open up the circuit. Could be something else but was the road u on bumpy?

Oh, I see Old Chap.

I was proceeding along West Side when the bally engine ceased to operate quite suddenly, re-started and ceased to operate yet again when the throttle was operated. I endeavored to open the throttle again, but to no avail. The indication illumination on the dashboard was fully operational but nothing happened when the accelerator was operated.
