Modern Vespa

Just browsing Craigslist for local deals, I found this:
Lambretta Ld 1957 125cc Scooter - $400 (DeWitt, Syracuse).

It's a good thing they included a picture of a fully assembled one. It's hard to picture the finished project in the state it is.

That WOULD be a project. Could be cool though if you had the time and money.

That's not a scooter ... that's a SCO.....

I've had my way with Vespas and Stellas, that Lambretta has had it's way with me once or twice. Without the expertise of other Lambretta owners, you're screwed.

Buy it, just for that paint job. I would.

Yup, sure. I'll start by scraping that rust off the floorboard. Then, I'll have to find a way to reconnect the newly separated front and back parts of the damn thing.
