Vespa Eastside is in Washington State, and they are a pretty good outfit. I have dealt with their various shops and have had good esperiences. |

That was a Pasco. It is a Brazilian built factory cutdown. Very rare and very fun to ride.

And that is the ORIGINAL seat. All the hard to find parts are there. It is probably worth $4 - $5k just in the parts. But one that original is a dream find. |

i saw that MK1 and thought... man that thing is complete and it'd be a fairly easy full blown resto-- all the hard shit is there and in decent condition.
for that price, i'd bet it'll be gone by the end of the day. best, -greasy |

Looking more at the photo:
It even has the keys for the glovebox and the column. Black seat might indicate that it is the even rarer US batteryless model - less than 1000 of those were ever made. Complete WOW at that price. That is a rare bike in what appears to be unmolested condition. |

It's on the BBS - It's a bad rattlecan job, original tail light will need to be repaired or a replacement found, and it does have two holes in the floorboards. Lights don't work. I can check this guy out for you guys if anyone wants to get this

I mean ..it's rare because it's one of only 29,000 mk1's that were made...and all within the first 6 months of 1962.
But it's more rare because it's a squaretail mk1, and there's only 1811 of those in the world. 2 of those 1811 are currently in my basement. |
