Yeah, he's got tons of cool/weird old scooters by the looks of it.
I'm surprised that none of the German scooter manufacturers stayed in the game. It's too bad, though--I'll bet Heinkel would have made some awesome stuff in the 60's and 70's. |

That's the Giordano guy from New Rochelle. He's got a ton of oddball scooters. I think he runs an odd scooter rally, but have never been.

Clean, straight P200 and a horrorshow Bajaj (w/LML) for $900. |

I like his brutal self-assessment on the Bajaj - "I wouldn't advise riding it" .
I like the looks of it but there's obviously some stuff going on there. |

you know what, not defending all shady importers, but one of my old clubmates had a bike that came from Seattle and that M.Motors spot and it wasn't in terrible shape. I think they swapped the loom only, but the seals and bearings were all on point. I suggested swapping the crank but they opted out.

For $900, that a clean looking P. My plan if I bought it? Rebuild the P motor, Sell off the LML motor, and use the Bajaj for a lawn ornament or sell (cheap) to a Indian restaurant or shop for a sidewalk display.

Followup comments suggest that Lammy is a Viet-bodge. I'm not sure how to spot Lammy bodges.
Is there a good Lammy site akin to modern Vespa? I know of Lambretta Club USA, but it has pretty light traffic. I want a lammy. |

The Lambretta is a nammer. Tell tale is the floorboard protectors, chrome legshield beading, the Vietnamese front disk, [redacted]/ssc/sterling chamber, crummy tires and paint. The key would be to do a full inspection - run magnet on fram and body to find bondo and who knows what engine is like inside. Possible scary. $2k is far too much unless it checks out OK.

Hey SFver... ever think about selling some Lambrettas to Google? I figure the Lammys are like their employees... too expensive and usually aren't working.
