Thanks! I try to keep it updated but I have been slacking off a little lately.

That's a nice looking Allstate compact but It's only worth the $850 if you like them I guess. Personally they're not my style. I know where 3 of those are in worse condition but for allot less.

it's my bike. it's actually a 1985 model titled as a 1971. someone brought it over and weaseled it into the CA dmv system. 6v (electronic ignition) no signals, and a sweet yellow headlight lens. xantufrog was that you who messaged me? i've already got a couple locals biting so far, so shipping cross country is not my favorite option.

Hey Aaron - it was indeed. I've been hunting quite a while for one, but people are always selling a minty restored body one in some ugly color for some ugly amount of money that I just can't swing. I'm truly interested if you want to keep in touch about it.

hey nicky

upon further looking at the pics that bike appears to be an original frame and color of et3 origin

rally stripes and et3 badge on the back

if the blue carpet and cdi are in the gbox then you have an et3 frame

i cant speak for the motor

(aaron, the et3 never had signals, it was never imported to the US, this model was a big hit in japan and originally intended for an asian market i beleive)

the bike has a great history, but all in all not a big deal

it is worth 1750 and a steal at 750 Razz emoticon

blue carpet and cdi in side cowl box: *check*

vin: vmb1t146499

not 100% sure where it came from, but that it's an '85 production model, w/o turn signals, with yellow lens (legal in europe), and titled as a 1971...suggests it was not a u.s. market bike. i only guessed europe. could be wrong.

I see plenty of ET3 videos from italy and the UK on youtube. Seems like it was sold in europe to me. I think Japan was just one of the last hold-outs of its market.

the 125 dmv factor

hey aaron, nice bike, 85 is more than likely the correct year, 71 is some weird ca dmv thingy

do you like the kit, did you own it with the original setup or did you buy it with the kit

that makes for 4 running untouched et3's in ca

i know of only two with original equipment

I'd say let's start a Stolen Scoot of the Day thread, but knock on wood there wouldn't be too many thefts so it would quickly fade into pages and pages back and wouldn't be found by newer members looking to post about their stolen scoot.

Perhaps a sticky at the top, but as Jess notes, nobody every reads sticky threads... at least not more than once.

oh heck yea, that is a great bike from what i can tell, the thing i've noticed with sframes is that its getting harder and harder to find one in really nice shape, floorboards, paint, ect.....

the ones from 60' were just tortured by big guys like us and were treated like a peice of yard equipment

my et3 must have been thru hell in its life

its all there and solid but the floor is thin in spots and the paint is well, original Razz emoticon
