So tempting. It's local, which is insanely rare.

Looks rattle canned too. Look at the engine side cowl fit, dent at tail, dent under tank, missing shroud and shattered head, and crease in the legshield. Doesn't look bad now, but I bet it was at one point. I'd take a risk at parts value. If it's saveable, you got lucky. |

63' vespa vb125 & 80 p200E Both for $1500
Hi all! This is my first post and wanted to say hello.
My husband brought home these planning on keeping the 200 and selling the 125. He picked up both for $1500. Did we get a good deal? I feel for $750 each we did but I could be wrong. I am considering keeping the 125 for myself. I love the patina on this old girl. My heart skipped a beat when I saw her, but we are beginner (like 2 years) scooter owners. We owned a 50cc automatic but sold it when we moved out here. These scooters aren't running but both engines turn and aren't seized. The guy we bought them off of restores BMW motorcycles and he isn't into Vespas. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/mcy/5074706419.html 63' vespa vb125 & 80 p200E Anyway thanks! Sorry the pictures are so crappy, it's late and dark so I can't take any good pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The ad is gone, but looks like a pretty good deal to me - assuming there's no serious rust, the motors aren't ruined and most everything is there.
Give me a holler if you need a hand. |

A can of carb cleaner, replacement spark plug, ($3) fuel line, and of course fresh gas can make or break a decision. "/Rent/" a compression tester and-or a multimeter from a Pep Boys/O'Riellys. Check the compression, put fresh gas in, and see if they fire up. Worst case, sell them to Dr.Ona for $2k each, he's always looking for bikes. |

It might just need some fresh gas and a good carb cleaning to get it to fire up... or not. HA! ...and the other one looks like it will be a fun project. You've got what looks like two solid frames and two engines that you say aren't seized, that's an excellent start. Good Luck! |

74 Rally in parts on scoot.net for $1900. Frame repainted, needs reassembly. Located in Providence. Might be worth a look.
