Schnectady NY $600
![]() This is a barn find. All the parts are there. This is a large framed Vespa. Engine is 180cc. This is a VSC1T which means it is a Vespa Super Sport, ("SS180"). This special edition comes with the bigger motor than most Vespas which are 150cc. It is a perfect project bike. http://albany.craigslist.org/mcy/5127350632.html |

One More.... $900 in the Philly area
![]() I am selling my 1964 Vespa Allstate, was a "barn find" about 8 years ago, and was reworked by a local scooter mechanic as well as Pat Guagenti, who was the master mechanic at Scooterworks in Chicago, he moved east and wrenched for a bit before passing on to that great scooter rally in the sky. Hasn't been started in a few years, but will with a bit of good fuel and a good plug, and has a ton of brand new parts. Engine rebuilt, new flywheel, cruciform, top end, new tires, etc. Has been stored for a few years, needs a new home. No title, come down with cash and take 'er away. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/5134236918.html |

Even better deal really....A Rally is a pretty straightforward largeframe rebuild....I just watched an ss180 motor come together last weekend that my friend is rebuilding. What a nightmare.
Even still, I concur it looks like a rally, but what's up with the VIN listed? That prefix would be a SS180 wouldn't it? |

![]() all there, no rust & OK motor w/ all the new bits needed to get it going again worth a look if you want a nice older project, just posted on ScootNet @ $1000 in California so I guess that's not too a bad deal there? |

smooth fender that appears to be intact and original with some spares for 1K?
meh. if i was looking for a project i'd probably bite. no tags and title though, so i'd say 750 cash with the fact that stuff has been taken apart (and probably some bits lost) i might even say like 5-6; but it is all there and not hammered ass so if you were into it and looking for a project you really couldn't go wrong. however, i'm more interested in the red thing that's in the background... -g |

Yeah. If I was on the hunt, I'd want to go have a look w/ some dollars in my pocket. Good potential here for a proper paintless 'restore' if it's as solid as it seems.
I was gonna comment on the lift for the red thing to the right. This fellow is serious about his toys and probably got only fine things for his gonna-be Vespa too. |

Not really a deal unless you just happen to be looking for a solid looking RAT P200 semi fast and w/ title, that nobody will steal. Fresh on ScootNet w/ a pic you can't see shit on. ![]() trim, lol
but are you fast?

It looks like it is missing the Ulma leg shield trim, but it has the Ulma front rack. Other than that, I agree with MJ - the price is a little high.

It IS a Rally
I paid 1500 about 3 years ago for essentially the same bike - partially disassembled, same year AND color. Mine had a curled edge on the legshield I had to straighten, but the paint is slightly better & still original, cowls included. The motor was out, but complete & ran well. I did find original 044 legshield trim to replace the damaged pieces but everything else was there and OK.

That rally looks great. If it's $1750, that probably means $1500.
The accessories are a good sign (Ulma front rack and BBQ box still intact... generally means it was not overly abused). If the paint on the body is salvageable, not a bad deal if it's as clean as it looks in the photo. |

I went looking for it yesterday and there were a lot of dirt-cheap Stella's (<$1,000 well-ridden, garage queens for not much more), the Unicorn--I mean $300 P200--was gone.
