Kind of amazed this bike is still available after a week. Even 3-4 years ago, this would have been listed for more and gone quickly.

Looks like a great little bike. Always loved that color.

I think it was listed a couple months ago, too, and didn't sell.

I think part of it is that it's so damn far away from...well...pretty much anywhere.

I'd love to jump on it, but that would invite serious domestic disharmony. I'm also thinking that my next project would be something that I could do a full teardown on, including paint & body work (I blame Vader and his gorgeous smallie), and that bike's in way too good a shape for that.

I think I might get it. I sent the guy an email and said I was interested but it might take a couple weeks before I could get there. He just emailed back and said it happens that he will be traveling through my area in a week or two but he hadn't planed to drive the car with a hitch. I offered an extra $100 to sweeten the deal. Haven't heard back yet.

I wouldn't have thought so. No glove box at the front, wrong tail light, panels look off. I wouldnt have thought Rally was correct, but I have no idea what it is.

This is a complete, running scooter with only 688 original miles! 60cc 2 stroke, runs on premix. 3 speed foot shift transmission. Top speed around 40. Motor starts easily via pedal/kickstarter. Speedo, lights and horn all work. In good cosmetic condition for an unrestored 50+ year old machine. See the photos. New tires, with spares in box. There are several pink "Hello, Kitty"-themed late-model Audi A4s and similar rolling around the Michigan State campus with driver/owners fitting that profile. Resale value apparently isn't a consideration.

holy crap is right. 20+ K for a scoot? I have to say it is cool though.. original shipping crate and 11kms on the speedo? if it's all true, that's pretty awesome.. I don't think I could bring myself to put any miles on it.. if it's lasted this long, may as well make that one a show room piece.. in my O anyway.

been discussing elsewhere. Yeah - its alot of $$. But the history on it, condition and only 11mi for a GS160 is unheard of.

The crate could be the coolest part. Who keeps a crate for 50 years?
