It's a clueless seller thinking he has a "museum piece, rarity etc" it is purely not worth $2500 in that condition. $900 would be a good number.

This might be a good place to start if you've been thinking about a widebody project. I am tempted myself to see what would happen if I flashed a grand or 1200 depending on what's missing, good thing I'm not there now.

I saw this earlier, and when I come across something like this I wonder why I torture myself by keeping an eye out. It's not like I can fit any more stuff in my garage.

Personally I would stay away from that Allstate for that much. its expensive for a basket case.
Since this is pretty much all we buy as of late I would not touch that bike unless I could get it for $500....
title is going to run $200 and then all the bits and pieces you will have to find to get something that old to run.... sorry V oodoo, just say no.

I saw that your from Bellingham, WA. from your city and county $20.00 is the tab and other fee, while for Seattle it jump from the same $20.00 to $80.00.
Then again owning that many, it take a lot of money to pay for tab & registration.

If the P200 was "restored" only a dozen years ago, then it must have been stored outside since then to look like that.

And be careful of anything in New Jersey.... many coastal communities were under water in 2012......

It's a perfect example of how "one of a kind" can mean either uniquely good or uniquely bad.

The pic on the other hand looks like any random stoop in Bed-Stuy, where my bikes were outside during Sandy without any flooding. Not every area was as affected.

I'm not ruling this out as one of the few that got away tho, with the rust on the sidecar and such, combined with the the unliklihood that this was used in BK for a substantial amount of time. I dunno who would ride a sidecard scooter in NYC.

Too pricey where? If it was here (Thailand), it would be bought immediately, no questions asked. I was asked by a local here to sell mine for the equivalent of US$ 9,000. It's mostly all original in parts, but not paint.

I knew a guy years ago that did something like this - only he exported old Harleys to Europe, mainly to England and Germany. He would pay finder's fees and pick them up all around the country during the spring and summer. These consisted of flatheads, knuckleheads and panheads - all very collectible now. He made a killing, so much so that he closed his motorcycle repair business, did this full time for a few more years and retired to the Florida Keys. Bastard

Good bargain when you consider the other P series bikes on either Gumtree or Bikesales. If I thought Alice wouldn't kill herself on it I'd be very keen!
