Hmmm, that's near where I live. I wonder where that workshop is. Has some interesting stuff. How's the tri-colour one behind it? Cool.

Four and a half grand though? that's more than I paid for my scoot and mine goes!

There is no title, I have been down that road before, and getting a title for an old Vespa is a pain in the arse.
But if it wasn't 200 miles away from me, I would still buy it. It looks really good.

I would say yes.

I transferred a Wisconsin title in Illinois. I don't know why not.

Plus, that's a cheap scoot at $1000 (don't know if it's a bodge or not but for that money, why not?)

Great little food truck of some sort. Not to big and one can squeeze it somewhere where the large trucks can't park. Just a thought.

Sounds good. My sister knows a woman on one of the islands off the coast of Vancouver Island that sells hot dogs, hamburgers etc.. Supposedly she makes a small fortune selling to the tourists. She only works summers and takes winters off. If a person is in the right place at the right time they'll do pretty well for themselves.

Vespa P200E For Parts or Winter Project - $500 (Beverly, north of Boston)

External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text

I traded a VW Bus for this Vespa 8 years ago. She ran when I got her but burned oil, so I put her on my project list. Kids quickly bumped this down the list of things to work on.

She's a 1979 Vespa Piaggio P200E. Not running now, but the body is in great shape. I definitely think she could be brought back to life and be a lot of fun. Sold as-is.

I've stored her in the basement for the past 8 years and I'm looking to make some room.

I have the title.

SoCal... As much as I would love to run over there, I am one person, and can only ride one scooter at a time... doesn't make much sense for me to have two of the SAME scooter!

With my business inventory in my garage, I barely have room for my current scooter.

Oh, and my wife would kill me if I brought home another.

Oh, and I have a dead car in my driveway....need to buy a new car.

So, I'm sharing the find, it sure looks decent enough. It burns oil... duh!

Hopefully someone will find it here and snatch it up. I know there was a post a few weeks ago from a guy in the Boston area looking for a cheap scooter. I'll go look for him....

I've been trying to not buy anymore scoots..
However, I did end up getting this for $600.
Everything works and it does run, but does need a carb rebuild to keep idle.
