Everything works and it does run, but does need a carb rebuild to keep idle. I'd have a hard time passing too. Score.

Bajaj Classic SL - $800 (philly NYE)
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/5333613117.html
NOT in Philly and this is a strange Bajaj, I don't think I've ever seen a Chetak with Super style cowls but a 4t chetak front end. Guy posts it as a 2t, and I'm assuming he knows enough to check.
I was just talking to Nickkpak about this, Chetak's are weird. There's not a ton of info on them besides a 4t forum I'm assuming is now shut. They had what, 3 interations? A vespa150/VBB style, a super style, then much later the PX-derivative 4t.
Either way, a grand is a good price on either a Stella or a modern Bajaj. I'd go to town on a Super style bajaj doe.

Hi all,
Apparently you cannot see my question for the above photo of the Vespa.
I am currently building a 1959 Vespa, and want a Vespa to ride now- yes- the bug has bitten me!
This bike is not currently running, but did last year- I don't mind an easy fix (tune up)- just want something to ride- have found a lot of fake Vespas on line- and I really would like an original.
The 125's I have seen are a little too slow for me to drive here in Crazy LA- that is why I am looking at a 150.
So, with all of that being said, do you think the above bike looks like a real VBC? I have done quite a bit of research- this one has a sprint badge on the front, missing the one on the back ( which some had)
But I just want to make sure this is real.
I read the forum on how to spot a fake- but as there are plenty of fakes on the internet it is next to impossible to find what an authentic 1966 VBC looked like after it rolled off the show room floor.
I am nervous, because this is my first buy, and have wanted a Vespa ever since I could remember.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you- sorry I don't sound very eloquent in this message- I just am really excited about my first rideable Vespa!

1980 Vespa P125x $800
http://annapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/5388749507.html
Posted this in another forum. Looks like a good deal but I've been bitten my the scooter bug recently so it may not be. It runs and has a clean and clear title. Emailed the guy and he responded. Might venture up to Baltimore to check it out.

Isn't that what Vermont is for? I think of their vehicle registration system as being like a money laundry for vehicle titles.

I need to reg a bike and need to go through the Vermont route. Is it as easy as it sounds? What about bill of sale from prev owner if no title? Thanks!

There was a guy on Facebook selling a 62 Lammy Li 125 here in Chicago.
Don't know if it's a deal if it's $4500 but still looks good. But not sure since it's a Lambretta.
