Craigslist generally isn't a shitshow. I've bought...most of my bikes off CL. In retrospect, out of the 10 or so bikes I've owned, only 3 of them weren't found on CL. Two were scoot, and one was from a friend.

Generally you get douchebags in north jersey that say they have a garage of parts but then give you a nasty attitude if you ask /anything/ about their listing, or you get spammers that live in CT and post all over the northeast. Theres a guy selling a Super out of Savannah that has it posted as far south as Orlando, those people are idiots.

Picked up this 70's Sprint for $200 buck this morning.. missing the engine side cowl, broken tail light, other small stuff... got it sputtering abut an hour ago!

Haven't had time to really get down and check it out yet, no key so that is a speed bump. Everything in the ad appears true. So, I was goofing here this morning and just randomly hit CL because I was getting into the VB1 and making decisions, almost bought parts! Was supposed to be looking at the green one here in Eug, but guy doesn't seem like he wants to sell it??
What's up with that one??

Will do, their biggest problem really is the bossman. He thinks everything is made of gold. Won't come off of anything for a reasonable price.

doc, I believe you win 'deal o the month' for Feb. Here's my nomination for March. My speedy pal Morrie beat out all the competition this morning for this one that lasted about 10 minutes on Craigslist. '74 90cc w/ less than a thousand miles, but he did pay slightly more than doc did. Of course the awesome color here justifies the modest premium IMHO.

Very clean! I didn't know that v90's came in green or that vespa used those older style 4 lug wheels that late into the 70's?

Here are some more pics of the green smallframe that i picked up. I thought for sure i'd miss out on it because it was listed for only 350, but the first guy flaked out and the seller gave me priority because i was willing to pay a little more I ended up getting this little guy for 400!

Ended up getting this 1974 v90 only a few days after voodoo told me I needed something a little more classic than my 1980 p125x. I think this fits the bill.
