Good deal voodoo. I have a secret obsession with making an ultra fast aero 50, those 80s scoots are cheap to play with. Still, garage space is limited and I won't displace a Vespa for this crazy desire .

1980 VESPA 100 SPORT MOTOR SCOOTER - $800 (Maine north of Portland)
Some assemble required For sale a fine example of Italian design and craftsmanship. This 1980 "small frame" Vespa is a three speed with a two stroke engine. New they listed a top speed of 50mph. The body is very straight and in excellent condition. The metallic green paint has scratches from moving the project around NOT from any accidents. The engine is in good shape with low miles. It is a 12 volt system that can provide bright lights. This project will come with a performance Leo Vinci exhaust. Includes a new gas tanks as well as other assorted new items. This project needs carburetor, I suggest a Del Orto 19/19 SHB carb that runs a little over $100. The bad news: The previous owner cut the wiring loom in half. I spliced it together but some people may want to replace it. ![]() http://maine.craigslist.org/mcy/5717954334.html |

Vespa / Bajaj Chetak 150 - $700????
http://newjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/5710306896.html
Partially restored Vespa clone manufactured by Bajaj. I bought it cleaned it up, but decided to focus on a Sprint restoration. Beautiful Tiffany blue paint. Lot's of really nice parts and in good condition. No title. Bill of Sale only. I purchased it from a condo building. I'm not sure of the year, but believe it to be the 70's. Does not turn over. Is this thing a bodge? and why does the guy think it is a Bajaj Chetak? the bike clearly has vespa and piaggio badging. |

![]() 1956 Vespa Scooter For Sale - $3100 (Portland) Quote: Selling my 1956 Vespa. 150cc Two stroke motor. I'm the second owner of this scooter. I bought it from the original owner's son. Scooter was purchased new here in Portland from Mario's Vespa in 1957. After riding it for 20 years, owner parked it in the garage and the son started painting it in 1978. He lost interest, bought a car, so there it sat until I bought it 34 years later. I tried to keep as much of the scooter original as possible. Some things just needed to be replaced due to age. Patrick from Ptown scooters rebuilt the motor four years ago. New crank, bearings, seals, gaskets etc. Rebuilt carb New exhaust New tires and tubes Newer cables New stator New coil New bulbs New petcock New brakes Other new bits and pieces. Runs and drives great! This is a 3 speed manual shift scooter. Kick start only. Mixing oil and fuel is required. Please be familiar with vintage scooters.. sometimes they need tinkering. Title in my name. I have receipts. I'm in North Portland. $3100 obo cash, no trades. Possible delivery to Portland area. ![]() ![]() I would ride that every day of the week. |

I should be clear. There really isn't any negotiation. He's firm on the price and I don't have a problem with that. $1600 would be a good price on a run of the mill P200. There is also the issue that it's 550 miles away. Closer than most of you but still a good distance.
