Seriously?? He has put 27K into a Vespino?? Even a BSG (now BFA) 209cc - 5 speed - full CNC engine with 40+ hp at the wheel, doesn't cost that much...

Non running Bodge with missing cowl... not deal of the day

What kind of Frankebodge is that?? Smallframe engine, headset and fork but the rest seems to be a largeframe. And from the looks of it, I see a lot of chunks of paint and bondo missing...

Smallframe moteor in a largeframe?? I've seen the opposite but, that's a new one.

It's a smallframe but the cowls have been cut off (except for the vin on the right) and large frame cowls mounted.

I post stuff here that might possibly be deals, mostly to get feedback on bikes other people might be interested in.

For a Rally, I'd say it's still a good price. No title + seized motor = roughly this price.

Agreed. Good but not great. Rally's are starting to be a rare find these days. A little haggling, Vermont registration and a motor rebuild, the right person could do well for themselves.

Top dollar for these ^^^^^. The owner says they were rebuilt for him and not by him, so he should have a bunch of receipts. No titles, while not unheard of, sounds a bit off. If I was dumping a pile of dollars into a couple of scoots, I damn sure would want everything to be legit first.

I would want to know who did the rebuild, and how I could contact them to see what had been done.

The Black P200 is not a bad place to start, but if it doesn't run, doesn't have a title or paperwork, and may have back fees.... that all adds up before you can cruise with a smile on your face.

Honestly, the price is a good starting point...... for negotiation.

Unless you're in it for a project, you're probably on the road for less coin by buying a $2000 P200 and just kick and go.
