As long as it was not on the road there is no need to pay back registration in California for vintage bikes. Bill of sale is fine as long as the seller in in California too, but it will need a visit to the CHP for inspection before the process is complete. $700 p200e would be worth looking at.

Allstate letdown
I really thought this was going to be my deal of the day until i went there and discovered that the 'engine that spins freely' is really 'engine that is locked up so tight a gorilla couldn't turn it.
Looks like its been parked indoors since 1968. super straight and hardly any rust. sad. https://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/mcy/6066640746.html |

Damnit...I've been looking for a project sprint for so long I'd pretty much given up on it, and when one finally pops up, I'm not watching for it.

maybe you can 'win' it
"I bought it for you honey" or "I'm holding it for a friend" are both all used up here
How about this? We create a true scenario that can drop this beauty on you painlessly with respect to wifey and with no need to resort to total falsehoods or expensive second homes. I will go get it & will hold a raffle. I will sell tickets for $500 cash then declare raffle closed when the first ticket is sold. "Honey, I won an old Vespa! " What could go wrong? Somebody step up, this kinda bike for this money isn't gonna happen again soon. |

$800 P200E for those who don't mind rebuilding a motor. I'd probably jump all over this if I hadn't bought that Stella motor yesterday. |

Vespa old school P200E - $2500 (Liverpool NY)
https://albany.craigslist.org/mcy/6091158346.html Under 4000 original miles In storage 20 years Engine just rebuilt Runs perfect and very depenable. New battery and tires. Inspected and ready to go. Top speed of 80. Around 90 mile a gallon. 4 speed Transmission. Not sure I would consider it a "Deal of the Day", but if it truly has a rebuilt engine it's worth the coin. Would love to see it do 80 mph, or get 90 mpg... but hey, what's a little exaggeration between friends? ⚠️ Last edited by Larrytsg on UTC; edited 1 time

1963 Vespa - $1900 (NASHUA NH) https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mcy/6091623520.html Can deliver after purchase. Will be sold with bill of sale Runs and drives well. All original unrestored nor molested. Beautiful show piece or put new tires on and ride around as is. ... it's an Allstate, no real details, but figured someone might be interested in something that looks original. |

A sightly entertaining post. If the engine is indeed a brand new LML I suppose it's worth the price.

I like the looks of this Bajaj. Price may not be the best given that it is Bajaj, but overall a nice, clean bike. It's basically a Sprint, am I right?

Super cowls are shorter and a little more curvy. A US Sprint that I use to own looked the same from the rear. The PO replaced the Glovebox cowl (and everything else) with Indian parts. The cowl was for a Sprint/Bajaj but actually a Super Cowl. At first I thought it just needed an adjustment until I found out and it bugged me until it was gone. |

https://york.craigslist.org/mcy/6077060435.html I believe this is from the same man who sold me his 1980 P200E (photo in my profile). While I'm no expert (by a long shot), I believe this is legit. It probably had some weird mods done to it but I bet it's been kept in his garage for several recent years. Front
