That might be my old Smallframe, sold it a few years back.

Since I only have largeframe parts & bits, that would be the most expensive $100 I ever spent.

Very nice looking P125X, but beware, you'll end up spending a fair chunk of cash to make it move quicker than a tortoise. Maybe one of those shiny new Malossi 177 kits to wake it up!

True, but I'd feel like I had a thousand more or less to play with and still be OK if I sold it on later. Good kit & pipe, nice side draft carb, variable ignition & lighter flywheel - no more slowness

If I was in the market I would pounce on this one quick and road trip down to Portland to pick it up. Yet again... So many good old bikes down there because they had Mario's Italian Motors for years, it was the oldest continuously-run scooter shop in the U.S., dating back to around 1957 and closing in 2002.

I bought this to fix up [just the chassis] for a display

Can you tell me what size is this Vespa that you sold?? I bought the frame and I am going to use it as a display .Going to put the taillight back on it and emblems , leg shield chrome ad floor panel strips. Is the picture you have the way I should do the taillamp or the flush mount ?? I see different styles on google .Sorry for the stupid questions but I do not know anything about the non modern Vespas .Im trying to learn but I just am not knowledgable at this time

If it has a bad paint job then it was mine. It looked a bit like an orange peel close up after I painted it.
Mine was a 50 Special upkitted to 100 cc's. The tail light is a matter of preference. It came with the US tractor style, but many prefer the European style flush mounted kind.

I inferred that the one with the new tank runs. From the pics, that's the VBB-ish one.

If I was close, I would drop by with some cash and see what happens. Some would want the VBB, but most I suspect would jump on the GL first. Betcha he is getting calls from all over the country .
