$200 160GS ?

Waaaayyy too cheap and it is a scooter shop. Looks like they recently cut the price and I'll bet they somehow also inadvertently dropped a zero. Somewhat nice GS for $2000 OBO, anybody ?

I've watched that GS160 on craigslist go from $5000 to $4000 to $3500. All the rare parts seem to be present, albeit in a poorly photographed box.

Why hasn't this moved? Has anyone seen it in real life?

This dude bought it up in the San Juan's for $1500, doesn't fix a thing on it and then puts it up on CL for 6k.
He's got a lot of stuff up on CL. If you live in the Seattle area and you're a collector you have to go through this middle man now.

It's at Olympia Scooter Co which may be new as I have only recently heard of them.

from the ad: Please post up if you learn more about them. They have had several P200's listed recently for reasonable money. Their descriptions are pretty good and I hope they survive. I will try them for parts locally if needed as our local Vespa dealer(Seattle), Big People Scooters seems to be no more.

I thought the rear cowls looked a bit strange. And is that a 1978 model? I thought in 78 the only 125 would have been a P125

TS is a great bike. same body as the Rally (with larger non us headlight) and a high output 125 engine

I don't know much about smalies but isn't the engine cover worth more than that?

I think the engine door is being reproduced.

If it goes for that price there's enough meat on the bone to get some of these.

Does the TS have the same frame as a rally? I have an 180 rally that needs a little help.

From Scooterworks, not cheap, but pretty cool.

SW's shipping container of Pakistani scoots resurface once again.

I don't worry too much about the work that SW did on them, but they came over as painted frames, so I'd be a little bit afraid of what's under the paint job.

On the bright side, they were imported over ten years ago now, so if the paint's still sticking, it's probably in it for the long haul.

It sure looks like it. If I could, I'd go get it. I'm really on the hunt for a P200 though. I had a PX150 for a few years, but it wasn't quite enough. Now that I look back it probably would have been, but you know how it goes. The grass is always greener....

I'm hoping someone like V oodoo or The Mocker pick it up. At least it'll be in the scooter community. I don't really like to see people buy and sell to make a profit without doing anything to the scooter. Why, I don't know. I'd just rather see some love given to the older machines. Don't get me wrong - nothing wrong with making a profit, but profit for just being the middle-man? It's no wonder that I'm not a salesman.

Someone must have grabbed it. If I wasn't so poor at the moment I'd have bought it. It would be a fine intro to shifties.

I considered it, but somebody else needs it more than I do.
Still, a hundred dollars worth of horns plus a folding BBQ rack on a two hundred dollar bike was hard to pass by.

Good looking bike, sounds like it needs a fair amount of work, but definitely OG. That's not far from my house if anyone is interested and wants me to go check it out for them.

looks like picture is from 1988. Current condition won't be any better than that or going down hill from that look.

Good catch on the timestamp. I'd noticed that the plate & city medallion were super-old-skool, but had just assumed that was because the bike had been sitting.

The corner of the license plate of the car is also the old Illinois plate, too, which is all the verification I need of the photo vintage.

Runs like a charm. Easy push startup on the first try. Idles no problem. Brake light and headlight work great. At least a yr or two of traction left on the both tires. Comes with a spare tire, tools and jack. Compartments have locks to store tools and keys. Will give you a helmet. Will give you a cell phone holder. Will send you videos of the startup and working lights.

Bajai Chetaks are the number one form of transportation in India. Most reliable scooter around with balls. 4 gears. Gets up to 50MPH with passenger easily.

If you rent a scooter in RI it would be much slower and it would cost you $600. for 11 days of use.
$700. Yours for life. That is a no brainer. 3 dollars to fill the tank with premium and you drive for days.
