always a risk buying a non running bike. I took his word the engine was okay. he let me work on it at his place. it took about 1.5 hrs to get it started. I couldnt figure out why ignition wouldnt get power. had bike apart checking every spot that looked like aftermarket electrical tape. in the end I had to hotwire ignition so it would drive home. once home took another few hours to find it was indeed just a fuse. everything works great now. happy with the purchase. only thing left to do is fix a water leak near the water pump.

The seller also needs to work on his siding reveal for the outlets. Offer to fix his siding on trade with HIS tablesaw, and get the scooter for free.

Original '71 Sprint w/real original paint, but that's it for the paint. The rest looks all original except the nifty pinstripes. A little ruff, but mostly all there it looks like & motor sorta runs too. What you want for only $1200?

^^^ DAMN, I sure wish I was closer to Minneapolis, this baby would be in my garage in a heart beat! But let's try to figure out what it actually is.

Front suspension says genuine Vespa, no striped down AllState here. But the unusual split steel headset says it's a rare bird, who knows what model & year we might be seeing here? Is the tail lite a clue?

EDIT: I believe I know this bike from long ago (2006ish) The odd paint scheme suggests it. If it's the same one, it's a Vietnam import from the 1990's.

Shocker on the front indicates not, but coulda been changed. Taillight coulda been changed as well or did some Euro Vespas come with this style? I dunno or about the glovey lock either. Hopefully those who do know will see this & help?
