If it's a PK125, I think 1500's a good price still - they were never sold here.

Said the buddy gets first dibs... I can appreciate that. Actually I didn't "crash" my scooter. And he is a friend of mine. I was just in the right place at the right time with cash in hand. He called me to take a look and post this for sale on the forum. It was scoot love at first sight. I've sold motorcycles on CL, and know the amount of phone calls and appointment setting gets out of hand. Someone is always disappointed when they lose the item to someone else. One of my scooters was crashed by a team rider during 24 heures du Rage. I sold one , and my daily rider was hit by a cage who blew a light last month . Got this because I needed something to ride while my bikes were in the shop and don't have enough to challenge me like breaking down along the roadside : ) It is beautiful, dirt, rust and all. If I ever decide to sell...I'll post to MVer's only . There you go, Bionic ![]() Engine # tells me it's a 1977.

1969 Rally 180 - $600
With glovebox! "Engine is free with good compression. (105 psi without a pipe on it). Bad stuff: Forks bent, no cowls, pipe, seat, terrible paint job, head & tail lights are ugly/rough. Good: includes carb and air box, oil and injector fuel tanks, complete head set and speedo. The infamous glove box is so-so but certainly good enough to save, same for the fender. Frame has a dime sized hole near the rear brake pedal, and typical legshield wear and tear. Some rust on tank exterior, inside in good condition. I can deliver to New Orleans, Birmingham, Nashville, ATL/Athens, Savannah, Jax/Tampa-Orlando/Daytona, etc. $600" http://scoot.net/classifieds/forsale.html?id=23918 ![]() |

Yep, lack of title is not good although he says it's "available" not sure if he means he has it or can get a replacement.
Washington state is not exactly the easiest state to deal with when it comes to missing or lost titles, Calif on the other hand...I had that DMV wired and know more arcane crap that the non-working workers never heard of. The trick is to study the vehicle code and copy the applicable passage and present it to them...bureaucrats have to acknowledge their own rules when you show them to them LOL |

Maybe it's not stolen, could be that he just found it before the owner lost it...or perhaps it's been borrowed on a permanent basis! |
