obligatory shameless plug for my own sale:

https://modernvespa.com/forum/post2613927#2613927

probably is only DOD if you consider all you can learn about the bike in my thread:

One for three to make two (vbb final assembly)

But honestly it's fairly priced and mechanically all new at this point.

Maybe not DOTD for everyone but how often does a 95 PX come up for sale?

a 95 doesn't come up too often, but the 05's usually come up once or twice a year in the PacNW. And $3500 does seem a bit steep.

That's a sweet deal ^^^!

I dunno if anybody is looking for something newer 'for a friend', but this caught my eye and looks like it could have possibilities. 2006 Vespa LX150 for $900, 13,300 miles , clean title.
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/d/san-francisco-2006-vespa-lx150-black/7617294578.html

that thing appears to have been laid down pretty good. the shield is borked up fierce along with the cowl. I can't see the fender, but I'd imagine there's damage there too. the tire angle looks funny, so with that damage it might have a bent fork.

also, I'd bet good money that it's got massive back fees.

I'd consider that a very good deal. reasonable mileage and it's not totally hammered ass. this would be a great first bike for somebody or a cool kick around/beer run bike.

it'll need a front tire immediately. probably brakes too. the trans stuff isn't a killer at all if you're handy.

if it's got a clear title and no back fees and the tags are current you can't really go wrong.

if that was local I'd be on it for sure.

It looks to me like it was hit pretty hard while street parked. I have nearly identical damage on my green Stella from that happening a few times.

Not mine and I don't know the seller, either. But looks like it could be a solid used P200 at an ok price. Especially for someone who needs a runner. This model was my first scooter back in about '87 and it was fairly fast.

I don't know how that hasn't sold yet?

Of course I know it's 100% sorted.
And I dig the scooterboy look!!!!

2 cents- if it doesn't move at 2250. Unlist it. Throw on the 166 and try a stocker mudguard and then relist it at 2750 or 2800.

I'm with Birds next in this one. Cannot fathom how it isn't sold yet, and maybe the mudguard?

well, the good thing about it being a 125 is that the EFL gearbox should still be in tip top condition.

1964 VBB 150 for $2,300 I think this qualifies to be in DoD. Listing does say 2014 LML engine however and it needs some sorting sounds like.

Curious what the group thinks.

nice bike but you're committing to an engine split to fix the primaries, and the electrical sounds like you need to start over. probably fair-ish in price but maybe not DoD. however, that's the fun of the thread.

Needs more pictures, but it feels a bit bodge-y to me. Even if it's Ameri-bodged. That plastic chrome trim on the mudguard & horncast. The visible flex in the floorboard under the center stand. The two pop rivets holding the legshield badge on. The random machine screw holding the tail light lens on. And, of course, the afore-mentioned LML motor, which they didn't even bother to install period-correct kickstart lever onto.

All of that screams "sloppy and/or ignorant workmanship" to me.
