obligatory shameless plug for my own sale:
https://modernvespa.com/forum/post2613927#2613927 [attachment-356373 "IMG_5202.HEIC"] probably is only DOD if you consider all you can learn about the bike in my thread: One for three to make two (VBB -->> plaid) But honestly it's fairly priced and mechanically all new at this point.

That's a sweet deal ^^^!
I dunno if anybody is looking for something newer 'for a friend', but this caught my eye and looks like it could have possibilities. 2006 Vespa LX150 for $900, 13,300 miles , clean title. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/d/san-francisco-2006-vespa-lx150-black/7617294578.html Greasy, what do you think? Not mine and I don't know the seller, either. But looks like it could be a solid used P200 at an ok price. Especially for someone who needs a runner. This model was my first scooter back in about '87 and it was fairly fast.

I don't know how that hasn't sold yet?
Of course I know it's 100% sorted. And I dig the scooterboy look!!!! 2 cents- if it doesn't move at 2250. Unlist it. Throw on the 166 and try a stocker mudguard and then relist it at 2750 or 2800.

well, the good thing about it being a 125 is that the EFL gearbox should still be in tip top condition.
