MM tail light with reflectors still attached, but boy, has that scoot had a hard life. Bringing it back would be true labor of love.

Seller's name is Randy Vitalis, maybe you can look him up? He's not a scooter guy, he has quite a lot of old antiquey stuff listed including an $850 1929 Chrysler sedan with much worse rust issues than this bike

I think those panel flashes are some kind of chintzy pop offs-- there doesn't appear to be any kind of a logo on them

I'd bet it's either dan motors of some type or a slap ass wore TFO super.

"bbq rack" looks like a pretty generic small displacement SEA motorcycle rear rack that has struts added to it.

for short money, you could probably get some useable parts. but I wouldn't count on the frame what-so-ever.

wow... that "SS" looks rough in the front.

I'd say that's a big roll of the dice on the frame being straight.

Whoever grabs it, ask about the glovebox and original fuel tank. Those are semi-model specific and missing.

I am on it. 2.5 hrs from here. He's going to send me a shot of the motor. He says he thinks it's a 150.

You guys! I see no real problem here. Obviously some of you have never optimistically done this and figured 'good enough' towards the end of the job as long as you could get it to stick well! You know you can easily add more to get it smoother LATER before you cover w/ shiny paint.

Good man! Fingers crossed it's an intact 180, but what's this about the wrong kickstart lever? Wrong lever would fit a 180 if original was busted?

1. it looks like the engine could be harvested
2. if you look at all the pics you can just see the unobtanium battery door sticking out of the gas tank cavity.
3. I still wouldn't offer 5 but if the bike was close... I'd go look with a couple hundy in hand hoping it was a 4-speed, and the bat door was solid.

We need to dig them out of his shed where they are trapped by his running Sprint, and project SS180 & GL150. Then we can see what's up and pin him down on price .

He's keeping his best stuff, willing to part with the two I listed.

Let me know about the 90. That would be a good scoot to get out on. Probably a better scooter for my purposes anyway.

Yep, a 1971 Super 150, so hopefully a 3 port case. Looks like I am drawing inexorably closer to this, talked to the owner and he says it's solid and the back story makes sense. I'm lucky my friend Morrie w/ 3 Vespas under his belt and lots of experience recently moved there and can lay eyes on it, but I have now committed if it checks out.

Will do when we dig it out, I know it needs work but probably not much.

Shipping so far could be a deal breaker unless you got real lucky.

I can't wait to see you dig in Voodoo. It's been a while since you had a good thread going, I loved the un painting a scooter thread. I'm curious about the gearing and those wheel adapters, is it geared right? Inquiring minds want to know.
