from a pure numbers stand point, at $500 or so you can't really get too sideways what with the pinasco kit. between that, motor cases and a fork even if the rest is junk you're in even money. and you get the rear rack too!

40+ years outside in the barnyard? That's a great price, but I too predict possible corrosion problems. Low miles & nice hubcaps however, I wonder if the autolube motor is any good?

I found an older script badge Primavera w/ toolbox instead of battery in the left cowl, and four bolt wheels. These things are really hard to find and this one looks to be in fine shape. Two grand seems like a good price for this rare model.

Three port motor because it was late 70s and shipped new from the Jakarta piaggio outpost. Nah, it looks to be a two port sadly, and I suppose the new top end is as well or I'd maybe cut a 3rd port and use a big 3 port top end I've been saving. Yours is a Super frame on Super hubs & eights and Indo Super headset,(w/ Jaguar option), but just not cowls & mudguard.

"Vespers", a package deal, north of Boston in coastal NH. This is an interesting listing (not mine):
Two (!) probably-original-paint Rallys and also a 57 Lambretta 125 LD -- all needing rebuilds. Been in storage for forever. All you need is motor building skillz and, I dunno, a moderate amount (I guess?) of money. https://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/d/hampton-scooters/7649109056.html |
