is that a sito 125/150 pipe? it doesn't look "stock 2 port" for sure. maybe a stock P unit?

from a pure numbers stand point, at $500 or so you can't really get too sideways what with the pinasco kit. between that, motor cases and a fork even if the rest is junk you're in even money. and you get the rear rack too! Razz emoticon

40+ years outside in the barnyard? That's a great price, but I too predict possible corrosion problems. Low miles & nice hubcaps however, I wonder if the autolube motor is any good?

I found an older script badge Primavera w/ toolbox instead of battery in the left cowl, and four bolt wheels. These things are really hard to find and this one looks to be in fine shape. Two grand seems like a good price for this rare model.

My buddy checked out this Dan Motors Super150 for me and doesn't look too bad at all. Trigger was pulled @500 but it will be a while to get it from Eugene, Oregon up to me in Seattle. Anybody from there(or even Portland) coming my way soon?

The trap headset is original Dan Motors and the motor # checks out as 1971 Super150 original and looks pretty good for rebuilding. Typical water in the top end damage but the pad looks OK and a new crank is included too. To be continued... Popcorn emoticon

Hey congrats Voodoo. Do they all come with a Jaguar then?!!
I had one , a '77 Dan Motor 150 Super with a plate from Bali. Custom cowls and mudguard; weird diamond plate cover on the center mat area, too.
Three port motor because it was late 70s and shipped new from the Jakarta piaggio outpost. Yours may be a 2 port but unsure… I found "Bali" north of Boston at auction in 2017 and paid the same as you. I rebuilt the motor, freshened it up, rode it, sold it on after 4 yrs.
Two thumbs up the Indo supers.

Nah, it looks to be a two port sadly, and I suppose the new top end is as well or I'd maybe cut a 3rd port and use a big 3 port top end I've been saving. Yours is a Super frame on Super hubs & eights and Indo Super headset,(w/ Jaguar option), but just not cowls & mudguard.

So has a different headset and did Italy make 3 port 150 Supers? Leggy badge is different too, what else?

Pretty sure Italy made the 3-port cases for these Dan Motor supers. It was getting near to the P series launch in late 70s. My motor may have had a P style crank.

When I opened up my 3 port motor, I saw that it pointlessly had a 2-port cylinder on it. Dave at Mercato found me a NOS Piaggio 3 port cyl for my rebuild.

"Vespers", a package deal, north of Boston in coastal NH. This is an interesting listing (not mine):

Two (!) probably-original-paint Rallys and also a 57 Lambretta 125 LD -- all needing rebuilds. Been in storage for forever. All you need is motor building skillz and, I dunno, a moderate amount (I guess?) of money.

It's always possible.

I didn't get that vibe, just because some details on motors' condition sounded plausible and they say the Rallys have MA titles. But someone in this day and age who says vespers with all sincerity... I dunno!

It is decidedly more organized over there, plenty of room for those vespers. He's got a pool too!

Rent probably consists of sorting inventory and being forced to work on the MP3 that's on his workbench. Or maybe ham.

nah, I wouldn't subject anybody to the horrors of MP3 work.

but help sorting inventory would be aces. some light yard work-- raking leaves, spreading wood chips, hedge trimming, picking fruits and veggies. maybe a hand in canning and pickling some stuff up. probably a run to soil and sod depot for a scoop of planting and filling & tilling now boxes.

you know, the usual chores that take place between playing scooters!

sweet, I'll get beer island set up and we can put on those NOS skylark hubcaps I scored awhile back!

I'm sure we'll have time to set up the yurt before CM and Voodoo get here.

Just swing by and pick me up on your way north. We won't even need the fire pit. It's warm enough year-round in LA!
