My 61 VBB has round tail.
Qa's blue 62 is an official fave - the reason being (to quote Whodat): somewhat rare round tail.

for somebody that wants one of these, that's a great deal. even though the pin striping makes it look like it's got saggy tits.

now you can't unsee it, you're welcome

Sharing this for anyone else on MV. Trying to be a helpful citizen.

I've been patiently waiting and taking my time. I saw a stock 1985 px150e and bought it, was picking it up on Father's Day!!!!!! Guy got hit the day before, the cowl is crushed and front fender scraped up, he agreed to credit the insurance adjust to my price. He texted me yesterday and I should know by end of week.
Very excited to get into it!
A few small issues, rides well, cosmetically not perfect, will post when in my garage! 🙏

I didn't pay yet, and he's crediting me the insurance. Frame looked solid. he laid it down, broke a toe. I think the lady crossed his path, no contact. This was the results….. nothing final yet.

Thank you for the feedback. I inspected the fork and it seems ok, just surface scratch on the fender. Here's another photo…..
I think it'll be $1,200-1,400.
Since this is my first Vespa, and for local riding only, it should be a good starting point to wrench and learn.

Winning bid was $5,650. $1,800/each. Not a bad deal, but not a smokin' deal, either.

Look for at least three of them to show up one at a time for $3k in the not-too-distant future.

Depends on where you live. West coast they could fetch $3-4K each. The buyer could keep one and sell 3 and come out ahead.

Absolutely, but getting three or four bikes from Maine to California isn't going to be cheap any way you do it, and suddenly your cost base is getting pumped way up. It's not like you can just stuff 'em in a fedex envelope, after all.

If the buyer is able to get a decent one-off price and not have to pay the shipping, then I agree it could work out well for them. Personally, I hate dealing with selling scoots enough that it's not worth it to me, even if I effectively got a sweet Smallie for free.
