Modern Vespa

I'd LOVE to have that in my garage!

I've been in contact with the guy. The title issue may or may not be fixable. I'd like to go have a look at it, but the last I heard he had it at a shop to have them get it running. I have no idea if there's a local shop that has the slightest clue what to do with one of these engines or not. Anyway, I asked him to get in touch when he has it back but haven't heard anything more. I'm interested, but not going to beg him to get in touch. It would be an expensive and time consuming project for me, and I'd actually prefer it not running.

Any comments on this deal?
I'm guessing stolen. I'm also guessing some sort of "immobilizer" is the no run reason. Not sure if they had those on that year. Also, no plate and no mention of title or lack of. Why is it crammed into a trailer with a bike outside. Suspect to me. Otherwise, seems like a good deal.

I'm not positive, but i didn't think that the ET4s came with a immo. I thought it was just the LX150 that did?


No red flags that i can see. All it is, is a red scooter with no ignition key that's stuff inside a zombie RV which is parked indefinitely along side the road next to a community park (or baseball field). It's not like there's a can of WD40 sitting in the RV's cup holder or bicycles laying all about just outside the door. The LVT tile laid over the carpet is a nice touch though. It probably keeps you from falling through the rotted out subfloor.

I just looked up the address. The street view say's it all with the sign out front.

Both pieces are there, so it's not game over. Not the easiest thing to put back together again, but easier than Humpty Dumpty.

It's listed again, now running and for $2K. At that price I'm not a buyer; the only reason I'd be interested would be to tear the engine apart and hotrod it. It's probably just as well, I have too many projects going on as it is.

Just saw that. I had been thinking, if I could grab it for $800-$1000, that I might figure out the space issue. I think the no-title issue isn't much of an issue in KS due to the age of the scoot. But at $2k, I'm out. Not gonna unsave it on my FB, LOL, but not going to lose any sleep over it.

A "Vezpa" for $1200. A P200 if I remember correctly.

A PX200. I'll be on the hunt for a PX model in a few months as kick starts are no bueno now on according to my spine surgeon. Not really keen on a Stella.
