Selling off Cushman Collection Lincoln, NE CL
Looks like there is a person in Nebraska selling off his Cushman collection. Here is a link to all of his listings on Craigslist. Those truckster things intrigue me.

How about these? 2 running Lammys for less than $3K.
Quote: A matched pair! (almost). 2 Vintage Lambretta Scooters. Cooler than a Vespa! 1965 Cento, original paint, original condition, runs well and was ridden regularly until last season. 1966 J50 with 100cc top end, repainted about ten years ago, engine recently rebuilt, generally in excellent mechanical condition except it does need a throttle cable and a headlight bulb. $2800 for the pair. $1500 each. 1959 Vespa GS 150
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/mcy/2287819714.html People are always asking us to point out when a good bike comes up for sale. Well, this one is amazing. It was restored in Italy and since then maintained by us. We are not at all related to the seller, other than him being a good customer of ours. We just want to point out an excellent scooter for a good price. |

Hey guys...looking into getting back into Vespas after a long hiatus....and doing research to make sure i dont end up with a bodge. Read through some guides describing bodge Vespas and just wanted to know what you think about this scoot...is that a good price? also, dont know much about that engine. |

They've been in DRY storage with a bunch of vintage British bikes for 20 years. It's dark in there and packed with stuff so NO PICS. I wouldn't want the British bike enthusiasts to get all excited over the '50s Brit parts which include half a dozen pre-unit transmissions, rigid pre-unit primaries, most of a Speed Twin race kit, etc.. NONE of the British stuff goes with the Vespas. I'm just sayin'... I have to dig these out. They are both "identical" light blue grey 150 Supers. One is a late '50s three speed. It shows around 300 ORIGINAL miles. It's STRAIGHT, COMPLETE and weathered. Doesn't run at the moment. It would be a minor miracle if I pulled these bikes out of storage, added fresh gas and they ran. The other bike is a '60s four speed. It's got a few more lumps than the earlier bike. Probably needs engine work. Still, it's largely complete and very well preserved. BONUS! There's a parts bike. Like the dog said, "Rough!" But... it's a '60s four speed 150 so if you want to convert the earlier bike to a four speed the parts are there. It has the headlight nacelle / handlebar / throttle / shifter assembly marked for four speed. It has the four speed gearbox on the FROZEN engine. It has a Vespa fork with the shock absorber in case you have an Allstate you want to convert. Did I mention the parts bike is ROUGH?! The fine print: The price is $2500 CASH. Pretend I was asking $3500 if you like to haggle. These bikes are worth $2500 EACH all day every day once they're restored AND you get a parts bike. I may start restoration on these or an old Allstate I have. That means I may remove parts from either of the "nice" bikes or the parts bike. That doesn't change the price, it's still $2500. Trades are unlikely, I'm well supplied with vintage motorcyles and old cars. I may consider a partial trade if you have a Sprint / Super carcass or 10" wheel conversion parts. If I'm besieged with tire kickers and lowballers I may withdraw this offer at any time. Serious inquiries reply with your phone number and a good time to call. http://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/2278193009.html |

This one was around last season and is back on CL again. Can't recall if the price was the same last year.

Oh. The two grey VBBs say "150 Super" on the cowl but they're not VBC "Supers". Why'd they do that? It's a really nice unrestored scooter. It's almost too nice for me to mess with. Quite obviously not a Nammer, it's been in dry storage for 20 years. I'm looking at local scooter prices. There's the guy in Maine who puts his Super up for $2k year in and year out. That guy! (see above) It's a decent bike but I don't know about $2k. Oh, yeah! Makes me want to buy a ticket to Omaha and pick up the yellow Super out there. How long to ride from Nebraska out to the coast on a Vespa? ⚠️ Last edited by ROCKER on UTC; edited 1 time

All right! Nothing like the Internet and a credit card to make every day like Christmas. Pretty sure this was the Deal of the Day a couple weeks ago. FedEx Guy showed up yesterday and it was Christmas all over again. Maybe Christmas and my birthday combined 'cuz someone sent me a free '50s guitar amp they couldn't get working.
Ordinary Michelin S83s. Big deal! What's so special about those? Well, best price I've seen on 'em is Motorcycle Superstore @ around $24.00 each. I'm not sure what the final cost would be. They might have the sneaky Dennis Kirk style boxing charge. Bet they'd cost $30.00 each by the time they got here. That's still not the approx. $60.00 each some eBay vendors want for them but wait... pay close to $60.00 each and the eBay guys will ship for free! WOO-HOO! And I get the impression some of you think I'm a rapist for askin' $2500 for three Vespas... Well, some nice people out west sold me these for $52.00 for three shipped to my door on the east coast. I win!! ![]() |

Rocker, I think that if you want more bites on your ad you should make it more simple. Actually say, "3 Vespas for $2500." Pull those scooters out and take a pic. Right now you talk just as much about all the stuff that isn't for sale as what you are actually selling.
Ok, here is a deal for today- Triumph Tina, $375 http://newhaven.craigslist.org/mcy/2302868256.html |
