$800 for a US spec'd Rally 200!!? If I hadn't already sunk a few (hundred) into mine I'd pick this up in a heartbeat.

Good luck! Let me know how it all turns out! I wish my wife would let me move on it, I'd go running with cash in hand.

I picked up this Rally. It's pretty amazing. Not running but not stuck. I haven't pulled the top end or cracked the cases yet.

I don't know SS that well... but is there suppose to be a hole under the center mat? This one seems to shed light into the cavity.

It's a Super, not a Super Sport. But you are right, that is not supposed to be there. I think people often cut channels like that to help with cable routing. Which is stupid of course. Maybe not such a hot price since it'll need welding. Good spot.

I wouldn't call that a deal. A similar gray p200 had been languishing here in the NY area for about a year at $1600 and the seller was only able to sell after she went down to $1200

That may be the case. I personally disagree, though, as to whether that is a good price - people usually ask 2500+ for P200Es in this kind of original condition in my neck of the woods

I'd buy it

Was running, but needs a tune up
Restored by Powder Scooter in VN, yes this is a VN scoot. Look up http://www.powderscooter.com/ for more info on the company.

This was a fun scoot for my wife and she drove it for a couple years after having bought from Powder Scooter. All it needs is a tune up to run smooth.

Asking $1650.00 or make offer, we're motivated to sell. We've got too many Vespas to maintain.
Damn, an honest man.

$3,000 for a 1965 SS180?
I may be a noob, but this seems like a steep asking price. I'm curious what you experts think.

If I'm not mistaken that SS180 has been for sale for a while...and if so, I guess that answers the question of whether or not the price is steep!

Local seller is reputable & I believe what he's posted. I don't think it would take that much to get it running well... maybe to track down what's damaged or missing. I dig the paint & would try to preserve that. I do agree it's not cheap though, would be a great score at 2K.

WHy cant these be closer to the west coast. Im project poor right now and the wife is not nearly ticked off enough yet for my having the garage too full of scooters, parts, lift tables etc. I only have 2 so far with many more in my future..
I would snap this up if it were closer..

Plus the guy refuses to sell to anyone in Calif for alledged clean air standards. No 2T follows clean air standards but are Okie Dokie in Calif. Besides who needs clean air..

There is another one in Green Bay too. I'm keeping an eye on it to see how the auction goes....not like I need it....more like I want it. I need a bigger garage.

Thoughts? It may be a Bajaj, is that "bad"? Seems like it's in pretty good shape, but the lack of a title is disappointing.

There are several of those Italjet Velociferos in the Dallas area --- I suspect someone imported and sold those back in the mid-1990s.

They are Italian-engineered and extremely cool bikes. Sadly, the trouble with them is parts. Good luck finding them --- anywhere.
