Its worth every penny plus a bunch extra. I'd drive and get it if I was in the right proximity (actually, thats a lie. I never want to work on another smallframe again).

Still has the Mickey Mouse tail light to boot! Nice Bluebadge in original color.

I know! My wife wants a prima, and I want her to have one. 1k mile round trip is just a little too far for us, plus we don't have a truck. We could totally swing the $400 too Crying or Very sad emoticon. I would hate get all the way there to find the frame twisted or something. Oh well another one will pop up soon.

Wouldn't be cheap to ship, but if you could get it home and running well with parts on hand, it might be a hell of a deal.

That Ducati looks to me like they took a look at the voluptuous curves of say a GS, and told a designer "Don't do that", so he went as un-voluptuous as he could. I was gonna say I kinda like it from the rear, but I looked again... not happenin'. I like the idea of the dirtbike motor in it.

I actually quite like it. The lines kinda remind me of my old Hay Wake dining set. I think it would have been better if they hadn't done the LD style bump on the back but had stuck with the more angular style of the leg shield.

I would have guessed they could be- maybe somebody figured they would bring them in from somewhere they could be sourced cheap, and restored here (isn't that what Scooterworks does?).

Anyhow, they certainly have the patina of something used hard as daily transportation, not for bopping around the country side on nice days.

Doesn't mean I still wouldn't want 2 or 3 in my garage for projects!

EDIT: assuming of course that I no longer cared about staying married!

You'd be surprised how many vintage Vespas on the streets of the U.S. today were once on the streets of Europe. Lots of bikes got bundled together in containers and were shipped over here in the late 1990's. I would imagine something similar is going on here.

I bet most of these bikes have 10,000 kilometers on the speedos and various serious and non-serious rust issues. But at least you know what you're getting with a Euro bike.

Any opinions on the value in California of a 100 sport. It's a friend of mine's and she is asking. It's all together but not running. I have not seen it yet and don't know the year. Apparently it was running in recent years. No information yet on why it's not running now.
Thanks.

Depends on the paint condition, how much it'd take to get it running again, and title.

If she can get it running, its worth a bit more. I'd say between $700-1000 not running, between $1200-2000 if it is (title matters, esp in Cali).

I wouldn't mind having a 100 Sport in my garage.
