The ad has been undated for the 24 bikes. He received, what he feels are, low offers and has stated he is looking for $500-950 per bike. I can see several bikes in the photos with what appears to be broken rear shock mounts starting to come through the frame, probably from extreme weight, and those cages that cover the taillight and rear end of several of bikes is used in Pakistan where these scooters/delivery vehicles get bumped all the time.

Bad Deal of the Day (and it seems the past year, as it is constantly being posted):
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/3128959004.html I figure the shop that did the work charged about $1600, give or take. And it still has: 1) rattle can paint job, the incredibly and horribly over-rated and unoriginal hot rod paint scheme 2) pile o' back fees and registration since 2006! 3) bad kick start problem (even though the shop got into the engine and did all that work) 4) no brake light (electrical issues) Y'all on here need to stop talking up Rally models so much, 'cuz it causes this kinda goofery. It happened to the GS model and then the SS180 and then the Rally. God forbid everyone here decides Supers are fantastic. Then there'll be $2500 Vespa Super models with seized engines. |

Shit, I'd be content with a powerful Sprint or GL over paying out the nose for a Rally.
Not that I wouldn't like a Rally though... |

There is beauty in all models, SFvsr, even small frames. (That's a joke. We like small frames, too.) It really has more to do with the condition of the bike and how well it was maintained over the years.
We often get customers who got a "great deal" on a bike and think the thing needs a little "tuneup" to run right. More often than not, the lower the price he or she paid, the more work the bike is going to need. But that's not the way the majority see it. "I only paid $400 for this bike. I'm certainly not going to pay more than that to get it running." That's about the time we feel like pushing the bike out in the street and telling the owner to go fish. If you're looking to purchase your first bike, even if you've had "thousands of motorcycles over the years, so how hard could it be to fix one of these things up," best to look for the most unmolested, unrestored, lowest mileage scooter you can find. That's one reason we steer people toward the P-series (but there is PLENTY of junk among those models as well). Yes, you can buy a "restored" scooter, but if this is your first purchase, chances are you don't know what to look for in a complete, pristine restoration. And, frankly, most of the "restorations" you'll find for sale are not what they are cracked up to be, regardless of what country they were "restored" in. Yes, the Rally model is one of our favorites. Same with GS, SS, GL, GT and so on. BUT, when WE buy a bike, we know that we are going to tear it all the way down and start fresh. We have all the parts and all the tools at our disposal. Most people don't. So, we don't recommend any of those models as your first bike ... unless, of course, we're going to restore it for you first. Oh, and we have restored some gorgeous Supers that anyone would be proud to own. |

The bluebadge originally came with a saddle seat. That looks to be a proper 70s bench seat for smallframes.

If you want to contact him for better pics, I'll be happy to go get it for you and store it until you can get it. He doesn't mind separating the three.
