Not a killer deal, but a killer bike if you like Lammys! I checked & that there is original paint. Stunning '61 Li125(possible Riverside? unsure..) in excellent condition with straight sheetmetal for a ~reasonable 2ooo. Dunno Lammys well, but seems like a good price? More pics & phone # here.

Looks like the only part with original paint is the front fork. The rest of it was ALL repainted a much different blue. And that white on the panel is definitely not original.

uninformed seller I guess. Decent guy, his Dad bought them new & gave to him(this and an old Vespa 150) couple years ago. Said under the panels it looks like new. He's admittadly no expert though. Neither am I.

I'm no expert, but I've seen a few Li125 model with original paint. Enough to see that the fork is the correct color.

If it runs well, teah, $2000 is a decent price.

Yeah. Don't hold me to this but I'm almost certain he couldn't even sell it on eBay. I think I saw it fail on there or if it did it was not at this price. Guys phone number is northern Greenville, and several Vespa I think and maybe a Lambretta have been in that area. I'd think it's all his, possibly hes a collector selling out. It's nice. I want it. Not for that price though. If it were $2200. Or round about I'd jump. Then again, I'm looking for a vdb penny in my change every day too.

I may, I gotta sit for a while, I would like a new project but dont need to spend. I'm knee deep in small frame bluebadge now. If it doesn't move as I get near reassembling bb, il make a call. I'm kinda set on projects I get aren't from pickiness but from availability and ease of sourcing parts. I'd much rather find a junker for $500, then dump 2k in rebuilding than just buying a runner for 2500. Thbefore is my first he is self fulfilling for me to make it mine and run /look how I want. Well see. There's an 58' ape locally I would die for, once again I don't need another project. Guess you could say I'm kinda scoot hooked now

Thought this was really interesting. Selling lots and lots of things, no price for it, only in a bundle but there is a lambretta in there. Someone could probably make a lot of money off of this one, and come home with a lamby.

While I can spot a Vespa bodge from a mile away do not know what to look for on Lammys. Tips?

The CL posting has been deleted, but from memory:

- It was an SX150. I don't know if these were ever officially imported to the U.S., but I've only ever seen one SX150 here that WASN'T an Asian import -- and the one I've seen was brought here from Italy by a friend. The rest have all been Asian imports.

- Chrome legshield trim.

- Typical Asian crashbars.

- Legshield glovebox.

None of those are definitive signs, but enough to suggest proceeding with caution. If the photos had been more clear there probably would've been plenty of other signs, like drilled kickstart rubber, toolbox trim, chrome floor runners, fork buffers being used as sidepanel buffers... You still have a bit of work to do there too. I noticed that you called out that musician's Rally 200 as a bodge. That bike was ugly, but not a bodge.

This is a pretty nice p200 for the price. I test drove it, but the price was higher when I rode it (or I probably would've picked it up). It really needs a new seat, and the paint is spray painted, but not a bad job done. Rode nicely.

I called about this one back in january

it looks great -- but I had called DMV to follow up and the back fees were like $900. not sure if this has been cleared up yet

I would grab that if I was looking for an 'older' scooter & was closer. Almost tempted, but too many already. Looks sharp, really sexy with that top notch black paint job! He's already less than half of the 'retail', but fair price of the similar scooter(eXceptional!) 2 ads down the page AND he's talkin' let's-make-a-deal!

They're both quite impressive, they look pretty much new.
