Here's the deal of the day, if you want a project that will take some serious money and effort to complete. I passed on it due to already having two bikes sap all the money out of my pockets, but maybe someone here will want to undertake the resurrection!

There is a nice '72 small frame on Charlotte, NC craigslist for $1000. Looks to be in nice shape, but I don't know anything about small frames.

Vespa 150
This guy looks reasonable, if anyone wants a 150 that probably just needs some minor restoration. About an hour and a half north of NY:
"black. needs tlc runs and drives, clean regestration. 50 year old bike that starts up every time. make offer or trade for older british car..... look im not askin for 2000 but dont lowball me and offer me $300 either. also call me up first! i will NOT respond to just an email or txt message of "will you take $600" for gods sake you work hard for your money and shouldnt shoot me prices on something you never saw! thanks" ![]() |

Woke up early for work and perused the clist, came across what I think is a easy fix and decent P series.
Everything about this bike says quick fix and runner to me. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/mcy/3386418322.html |

I don't always admit stuff about my scoots
But when I do, I confess that MOST of my old motors(lo mile) are unsplit & run fine with original seals. Probably run better with new ones I suppose. wtf? ![]() |

Probably run better with new ones I suppose. wtf? ![]() I'm sure not ADVOCATING driving a worn motor into the ground, especially if you know you'll need to rely on it. If I was*RESTORING* that's another story, I'd go thru the motor too. I just like to get 'em running again, sort thru all the controls & mechanicals outside the case and ride 'em around when the scooter's not been used much previously. Guess I'm lazy & if it still works OK, I just can't make myself 'rebuild' it. That's why I don't always admit stuff about my scoots. Always floors me when a fifty year old motor with only a good carb cleaning runs at all, but usually they run pretty well. Maybe luck, YMMV. Deal @ $2200 ? ![]() Here's a Lambretta with an 50 year old lo mile motor, at a very fair price. Looks soooo good, only 1753 miles! Wish it was closer & I could see in person. They have a couple others posted up for a little more. |

That Lambretta Li 125 is most certainly a bargain. A very nice bike and a very nice and honest owner. We've known him for years.
He has a couple other bikes at good prices for sale. Check out the "For Sale" section of his website, http://www.planetlambretta.com/. |

Gonna take pictures of this tonight. Anyone think this could be a good deal. Looking to build a scooter but I'm new to this. Need to know if parts are readily available as well. Any help would be appreciated.
