I got a nice '62 GL complete less motor for that. Tool box cowl bottom was rusted bad, but the rest is OK, even well worn original paint.

No fork/ front wheel mentioned. So if this is missing complete front end AND motor, you have a shell & cowls w/ nice seats? I'd offer half & work up a little maybe, depending on what you find. That chrome stuff could be worth a lot or nothing. Take a look for straight sheet metal & rust damage, see how much stuff it really needs & go from there.

Alright, so I checked it out the frame has been blasted but has surface rust over the entire body. It was in a garage with barely any lighting so I wasn't able to get pics as my phone is a piece of garbage... There were no welds that I could tell. I pulled the VIN and ran it through scooter help. Showing it is a 1976 Super instead. Not sure if that a good or bad thing. It does have the front fender. The chrome is limited to back rack and an oh sh*t bar which I don't really care about. Does have two redone seats and two sets of 8" wheels rubber looks good but will need fork. Gonna look up 76's. any opinions are welcomed!

Consider starting here instead. 1980 Vespa P200E

If this was done properly, seems it could be perfect for you. If you find something you like better later, this would be easy to flip.

If it's not for you, maybe for somebody else looking for a nice P at a good price.

Not sure it's THE deal o' the day, but I agree with the seller that it would look boss on a modded lambretta... very cool looking pipe.

That would be the one. The guy took it apart years ago meaning to restore it, and never got around to it, so it was in pieces. All the parts were there, the cases are split and ready for rebuilding. The scoot needs a small amount of body work and is in desparate need of a repaint.

My plan (at this time) is to turn this one into a rat rod with a side car.

By the way, this was not the only vehicle he had dismantled in his garage...he had two microcars and some Honda CT70's he was trying to get to. The garage was packed floor to ceiling with "stuff", and he was hauling a load to the dump when I arrived. He's trying to get the garage cleared out so he can work on his micro cars.

Does not compute, see the pic!

Not wasted at all, they're not Pokemons. Don't HAVE to get 'em ALL and if somebody beats me that is FINE, THEY need it more than me. If I get it that's fine TOO! I do want it like crazy!

Nearly all the good 'scoops' I've managed have been cheap 'flawed' scoots that were out there for while, THEN a few ppl cry that they could'a, should'a, would'a but didn't. Except for my FIRST here, I scooped THAT baby fast or would'a lost it! It showed up here, RIGHT in this thread, top of the page https://modernvespa.com/forum/topic53335?page=22 and I'm trying to keep the seller happy with the deal we'd JUST made before it was posted.

Yeah, some Greek kid GRAB that sucker fast, like I did with my Primmy! Then come & rub it in my face. I'll race you on my 200cc COSA!

Good thing this one isn't closer to me. I could be wrong, but looks authentic, including that booty creeping up the centerstand. Not exactly cheap, but I think it's well worth it, and it IS a lot cheaper than that lovely Lammy museum piece above.

Iv'e seen full pics of the Central Coast Lammy.

That thing is no joke. He has been doing this scooter thing awhile and has spent countless hours and money putting that bike together.

The topend alone, when all done and said, can run you around 800 and 900 bucks.

Kyle's is 9 years older, but $600 cheaper.

They're both good colors for me but I like the paint on Kyle's a lot more.

I think the yellow one might get that in the late Spring, but who knows?(San Diego)
