If I had the bread and was close, I'd buy that bike... it's nice and I'd consider it a deal for sure! I wouldn't even try and get the guy down in price.. he's already come down.. I think it's more than fair...

I recognize some of the stuff on the bike (Parmakit Ignition, MMW2 Reed Manifold, MMW Rear Disc, etc).

A lot of money was probably spent on the engine (I'm guessing it has a 62mm crankshaft as well, due to touting 240cc), but the bike looks like shit.

I can't stand incorrect badges, fender crests, etc.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking too. Did all those mods, but didn't make it look nice at all?

I have 2 Sears Allstate Compact Scooters for sale. They are in excellent shape and need only slight restoration. They ran 8 years ago when put into storage, but will now need some work. Both turn over with compression, and have spark. Should only need fuel systems gone thru to run. Tanks are clean inside. One is missing tail light, the other tail light lense. Otherwise complete. Yeah, but "pudding" is adding tax title and "doc prep" fees..... that stuff can add up!

You can't buy a bike in CA without paying tax and title fees. His doc prep fee may be negotiable. That's a good looking scooter at a fair price.

I'd be willing to bet that if that scoot were yours, you'd be whistling a different tune.
