I'm starting to wonder what the deal is with that one. An italian Li150 for $1000 should have been gone in five minutes flat, but that one has been listed for a month now. Wonder what is wrong with it?

Me too. Don't see anything unusual in the pictures. If I had the money I would buy it.

True or false, last time that thing came up someone knew/noted some bodgey origins associated with the scoot. I hate to say that, b/c I have no first hand knowledge, but that was the scuttlebutt on one of the forums last time it was listed.

The guy that bought it is a cafe' racer guy from Detroit. He said on my blog

"The only prob. I've found is the electrics have been fiddled with by someone and will need to be replaced. Also, the right rear floor board outrigger has become "liberated" from the frame. All of the other welds are sound and there is very little rust. I usually do motorbikes (see my blog detroitcaferacer.blogspot) But I've always wanted one of these! I've been trying to sort out the warning signs of an Asian import but so far it seems to be a legit Italian born bike. If you know of any warning signs let me know."
